Among the highlights which the group will experience in Donegal includes meeting with guide, Iain Miller, of Unique Ascent, an experienced mountaineer with over 25 years’ experience as a mountaineer and rock climber.Iain has an extensive and unique knowledge of rural, upland and coastal Donegal and will bring the group on a guided walk along the Wild Atlantic Way to view sea stacks, sea cliffs and rock faces.Following an active afternoon the group will enjoy dinner and overnight at the Mill Park Hotel in Donegal Town and go on a site visit to Harvey’s Point in the lovely Lough Eske on Monday. It’s then on to Sligo to visit Yeats Grave and the group will take in part of Ireland’s Ancient East in Strokestown Park, Co Roscommon, Belvedere House & Gardens, Co Westmeath, and turf cutting at Lullymore Heritage Park, Co Kildare. These specialised workshops, which are organised by Fáilte Ireland in conjunction with Tourism Ireland, focus on target markets considered as areas of potential growth for Ireland.Speaking today, Ciara Sugrue, Head of Publicity, Trade and Promotions, Fáilte Ireland said: “We are delighted to be welcoming these UK Inbound Buyers to Ireland and know they will enjoy their visit to Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way.“These top UK buyers have the capacity to deliver significant amounts of visitors to Donegal and their presence is a testimony to Ireland’s appeal as a destination. As they start planning for their 2016 season and beyond we hope that their time spent in Ireland proves to be fruitful for local businesses.”“Even though our key markets are delivering extra visitors and revenue for 2015, we must not become complacent and these workshops remain a key element in continuing to drive more visitors to Ireland in the months and years to come.TOP UK TOURIST PROMOTORS VISITING DONEGAL was last modified: October 5th, 2015 by StephenShare this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:donegaltourismUK promotorsWild Atlantic Waylast_img
